Iron molybdate thin films deposited by radio frequency magnetron sputtering. Iron molybdate thin films cycled versus lithium and sodium in liquid electrolytes. Electrochemical results related to Fe2p and Mo3d XPS core peaks and SEI behaviours. Better redox reversibility evidenced, after the first cycle, for cycling versus Na. Better capacity retention obtained for cycling versus Li due to thinner SEI.
