Metal Bi decorated Bi2-xMoOy was synthesised by a simple and one-step. Bi3+ could be in situ reduced to Bi0 gradually and dispersed uniform in Bi2-xMoOy. It shows excellent photocatalytic activity due to special structure and composition.
