We study the reaction mechanism of Mo-based water gas shift catalysts. The elementary reaction progresive of Ni/Mo/Ti is higher than that of Co/Mo/Al. We confirmed the progressive of the new mechanism. For the new mechanism, H2S gas contributes to the shift reaction progress in the elementary reaction process.
