Modeling and control strategy for 2-stage grid-connected photovoltaic system are developed and discussed. P&O program associated with PI controllers to extract the optimal PV power is developed. Command scheme to control the dc-link voltage and the current injected into the grid is discussed. Optimal PV power, high power quality and ac current with low harmonic distortion are obtained.
