Effect of BPA and its selected analogs on DNA damage and repair in PBMCs was studied. BPAF induced the strongest DNA single strand-breaks and double strand-breaks in PBMCs. BPS, which is main substituent of bisphenol A caused much lower DNA damage than BPA. PBMCs significantly repaired bisphenols-induced DNA damage. BPA and BPAF at low concentration of 0.01 μg/ml were able to induce single strand-breaks.
