ORF7 is a flavin monooxygenase involved in ECO-0501 biosynthesis. ORF7 catalyzes the physiological oxidative decarboxylation of Nδ-methylarginine. Arginine exclusively and efficiently undergoes ORF7-catalyzed amine oxidation.
