BC from biomass contribute ~ 30% during post-monsoon and winter in the central IGP. Change in source type, fossil vs. biomass, and its strength as evident from αabs. Local sources of BC assume more prominence during winter and post-monsoon. North-west and north-east regions in the IGP are sources of high biomass burning.
