Operation costs are studied under the US-UV-H2O2-Fe system for several devices.

The synergism between the UV process and the sonolytic one was quantified as 55.2%.

The use of ultrasound (US) generates HOradical dot radicals, making the process faster.

Without US, thin film and conventional plant are cost comparable (∼2 €/m3).

The solar plant is faster and cheaper (1.3 €/m3 – 80% mineralization) in sunny days.
