Relative to controls, athletes in the sub-concussion and concussion groups exhibited decreased P3a and P3b amplitudes. Relative to athletes in the control and sub-concussion groups, concussed athletes exhibited decreased N1 amplitude. Relative to controls, athletes in both the sub-concussion and concussion groups exhibited deficits in delayed recall. Sub-concussive and concussive injuries are associated with persistent deficits in cognition and brain function.
