Two novel silica materials were derived from thermally oxidized PDMS precursors. The pore morphology of these silicas were characterized by N2 and CO2 physisorption. The sorption, diffusion, and permeation properties were measured between 35–100 °C. Gas permselectivities were deconvoluted into sorption and diffusion selectivities. Diffusion selectivities were deconvoluted into energetic and entropic components.
