文摘

Rictor loss in primary osteoblasts retarded osteoblast differentiation along with lowered activity of the mTORC2-Akt (S473) signaling pathway.

Rictorob-/- mice showed a significant impairment of the cortical bone with minor changes in trabecular bone.

Bone turnover rate was slowed down in Rictorob-/- mice.

Significantly decreased bone biomechanical properties were observed in Rictorob-/- mice.
