Simulation has the potential to advance technical and non-technical skills in burn professionals. It has become a pillar of medical education embracing a spectrum of materials and technologies. There have been a variety of important innovations in simulation in burns education. Low cost scenario-based multidisciplinary simulation may offer an alternative to expensive static centres.
