This paper proposes a novel and simple method for efficient design and structural improvement of FOD. Lattice wave digital filter and nature inspired optimization techniques are used for the designing purpose. The proposed design outperforms the existing FOD in terms RME magnitude error and multiplier required for realization. The CSA optimization technique gives better results, among others.
