Authentication of juices from antioxidant and chemical perspectives: A feasibility quality control study using chemometrics

Juices were analyzed for physicochemical characteristics, antioxidant activity and total phenolics. PCA data showed that juices cannot be clustered in groups. PLS-DA classified 100% of Citrus juices and 73% of Super juices. Total flavonoids, pH, and acidity were the main responsible for the classification. DD-SIMCA can be used for juice classification and authentication.
