Random patterned-channel-age is used to create core snapshot conditions from the time average calculations.

An alternative method based on an optimization using Genetic Algorithm is developed to generate the patterned-channel-age.

The alternative method, DERMAGA, produces snapshot core conditions with acceptable maximum bundle and channel powers.

Robustness of DERMAGA to crossover length and mutation rates are evaluated.
