Subtyping of S. Typhimurium isolated over 30 years in Brazil by CRISPR-MVLST. CRISPR-MVLST provided additional information than did only the CRISPR analysis. CRISPR-MVLST provided similar results to the ones obtained by PFGE. CRISPR-MVLST can be used to complement and validate results obtained by PFGE.
