ABA and drought treatments significantly induced FtMYB10 expression. The overexpression of FtMYB10 resulted in reduced salt and drought tolerance in transgenic Arabidopsis. The overexpression of FtMYB10 decreased sensitivity to ABA. FtMYB10 overexpressing plants showed decreased expression in stress-responsive genes.
