Critical behavior of Mn5Ge3 and Mn4.75(Co, Fe)0.25Ge3 were investigated. β values for Mn5Ge3 and Mn4.75(Co, Fe)0.25Ge3 satisfied the 3D-Heisenberg model. γ values for Mn4.75(Co, Fe)0.25Ge3 deviated from the 3D-Heisenberg model. Universal behavior of the magnetic entropy was confirmed for the three alloys. ΔSM – T curve for Mn5Ge3 was extrapolated to 5 T using the universal behavior.
