The inclusion of a larger number of impact categories in LCA study creates a risk of conflicting results. LCA and MCDA techniques were combined to improve the decision making in solid waste management. VIP-Analysis is applicable in aggregating the LCA results due to its ability to handle problems with imprecise information.
