Field induced anisotropy is estimated for Si-poor Fe-B-Si-Cu nanocrystalline alloys. A local crystalline phase field induced anisotropy of 172 J/m3 is estimated. Field induced anisotropy originates from both crystalline and amorphous phases. Field induced anisotropy is Si dependent as predicted by atomic pair ordering model. Small amounts of Si in Fe-rich nanocrystalline alloys may degrade magnetic softness.
