We developed a colorimetric detection of glucose based on AuNPs coupled with AgNPs. Small AuNPs can catalytically oxidize glucose like glucose oxidase. AgNPs was used sensing platform for the product of H2O2. l-cysteine assembled on metal nanoparticles can improve the sensitivity of glucose detection.
