Au-Pd/NPSS was fabricated by electrochemical deposition and galvanic replacement.

Linear range are 5.0–55.0 μmol−1 for LD and 100–1200 μmol L−1 for UA.

Limit of detection (LODs) are 0.2 μmol L−1 and 15 μmol L−1 for LD and UA, respectively.

Ascorbic acid has negligible effect to 2.5 mmol L−1 for LD and UA detection.

Au-Pd/NPSS can be used for LD determination in levodopa tablet and UA human urine.
