One-pot synthesis of size-tunable hollow gold nanoshells via APTES-in-water suspension

Hollow gold nanoshells are prepared by using APTES-in-water suspension as templates.

Diameters and surface plasmon resonance of the nanoshells could be readily tuned by adjusting the HAuCl4/APTES ratio in the reaction system.

The hollow nanoshells exhibit excellent photothermal performance and stability.
