LNG vessel loading process is dynamically simulated using Aspen Plus Dynamics v8.8 software. Jetty boil-off-gas (JBOG) generation profiles with respect to LNG loading time are obtained for various scenarios. Effect of initial ship-tank temperature, JBOG-compressor capacity, and ship-tank cooling rate on JBOG profile is studied. Storage and utilization of BOG is suggested to provide smooth/constant and continuous BOG flow to BOG recovery facility.
