Reduced graphene oxide (RGO)/MnOx@carbon hollow nanospheres (HCNs) were designed. RGO/MnOx@HCNs have hollow structure, high surface area, and high content of MnOx. Core–shell 3D architecture ensures the electrochemical activity of ternary active components. RGO/MnOx@HCNs electrode has high capacitance, rate capability, and good cycle stability.
