Flow over a cluster of three cylinders is studied experimentally.

Vortex shedding is observed in the wake for all cluster orientations.

Cluster orientation is shown to have a significant effect on the wake topology.

The formation of smaller scale vortices and their role in the overall wake development is examined.

The detailed flow field measurements highlight the complex flow development in the near wake.
