Effect of diagnostic cone-beam computed tomography protocols on image quality, patient dose, and lesion detection
文摘
Effect of CBCT protocols on patient doses and image quality were scarce. Recent CBCT capable to produce multiple protocols with different angles and frames. Protocols-2 and -3 produces good image quality, lesion detection and delineation. Determined CBCT lesion sensitivity, and specificity compared to gold standard MRI. Frames reduction certainly reduces patient dose but this reduces image quality.
