Individual adolescents vary in the rise and fall of depressive symptoms over time. Statistical modelling identified four subgroups based on symptom trajectories. Trajectory class was associated with brain structural connectivity outcomes in late adolescence. Longer duration of depressive symptoms was associated with more abnormalities.
