Three-stage traveling-wave thermoacoustically driven cryocooler system proposed. Two configurations numerically studied based on thermoacoustic theory. PA-coupling outperforms BA-coupling because of recycling acoustic power. Total exergy efficiency: 14.82% and cooling power: 106.8 W achieved by PA-coupling.
