Cell-derived microvesicles in cardiovascular diseases and antiplatelet therapy monitoring — A lesson for future trials? Current evidence, recent progresses and perspectives of clinical application
Heterogeneity of microvesicle studies hindered their application in cardiology. Great progresses were made recently in microvesicles' assessment techniques. Multicentre studies with microvesicle analysis are now possible. Microvesicles might become supplementary biomarker in cardiology. Microvesicles may help individualize antiplatelet pharmacotherapy.
