Energy consumption to construct EGS (Enhanced Geothermal Systems) well systems is modeled and calculated.

Flow and heat transfer of the geofluid in EGS wells are modeled and calculated.

Design guidance for EGS well systems is proposed based on the energy analysis.

The calculated EROI (energy return on investment) for the proposed EGS well systems was 33.8 to 286.2.
