Printing of polyethylene terephthalate needlepunched nonwovens is reported.
Tensile strength of nonwovens was improved after pigment printing.
Pigment printing could be employed as one step bonding and colouration of nonwovens.
Disperse printing resulted in excellent colour strength and shade solidity.
