Cu2O is suggested as an inorganic hole transport material.

The cell parameters are simulated using two software wxAMPS and SCAPS.

Results compared to CuSCN, NiO, Spiro OMeTAD and CuI.

Cu2O based cell outperforms cells using other hitherto tested HTM materials.
