Ba1.31Sr3.69(BO3)3Cl: A new structure type in the M5(BO3)3Cl (M = bivalent cation) system

Ba5-xSrx(BO3)3Cl (x = 0, 0.5,…to 5) were synthesized as phosphor materials. The volume changes of Ba5-xSrx(BO3)3Cl were simulated with Rietveld refinements. A new compound Ba1.31Sr3.69(BO3)3Cl with apatite structure type was obtained. Calculation and thermal analysis show that Ba1.31Sr3.69(BO3)3Cl is stable in air.
