Photolysis of different hyponitrites was study by FTIR in the solid state. N2O is a product of photolysis of all hyponitrites. Spectroscopic analysis suggests that [(NH3)5CoNNO]+ 3 complex is formed. Density Functional Theory calculations supports most of the experimental results. Kinetic measurements for binuclear complex suggested a first order law.
