A detailed thermal-electrical model of three photovoltaic/thermal (PV/T) hybrid air collectors and photovoltaic (PV) module: Comparative study under Algiers climatic conditions
A detailed thermal and electrical model for PV and PV/T systems has been presented. The developed numerical model was validated successfully with previously published experimental results. A comparative study between four solar devices (PV and PV/T systems) was carried out. The experimental weather conditions of Algiers site are used in the numerical model. The glazed double-pass photovoltaic/thermal air collector shows the best overall energy efficiency.
