The samples produced low diversity dinoflagellate cyst with eight species recorded. The most abundant species is Luehndea spinosa. Dinoflagellate cysts dominate the Dactylioceras polymorphum ammonite biozone. They decreased in the Hildaites levisoni and Hildoceras bifrons ammonite biozones. The T-OAE is characterised by a decline in palynomorph abundance and diversity.
