Acute decompensated heart failure has high central respiratory event prevalence. Cheyne Stokes respiration cycle length does not alter in cardiac recompensation. During cardiac recompensation AHI decreases non-significantly. During cardiac recompensation central hypopnea index decreases. During cardiac recompensation time spent in Cheyne Stokes respiration improves.
