Effects of anodizing potential and temperature on the growth of anodic TiO2 and its photoelectrochemical properties

Nanoporous anodic titanium dioxide (ATO) layers were formed in a glycerol-based electrolyte. Effects of temperature and anodizing potential on the morphology and growth of ATO layers were investigated. Photoelectrochemical properties of ATO layers were studied. The highest photoconversion efficiency was observed for samples synthesized at 40 V and 20 °C.
