N-cyclohexylcarbamoylpiperidin-4-ones were synthesized by addition reaction. The stereochemistry of the synthesized compounds was established by NMR spectra. In the synthesized compounds the piperidine ring exists in non-chair conformation. The synthesized compounds are evaluated for antibacterial and antifungal activity.
