Effect of a cold, dry air incursion on atmospheric boundary layer processes over a high-altitude lake in the Tibetan Plateau

We report the effect of a cold air event on the ABL over a high-altitude lake. CBL rapidly thicken to 2280 m over the lake after the cold air outbreak. H and LE sharply increased over lake but decreased over land after the cold air. Cold air reduced the vertical temperature gradient and resistance of CBL growth.
