We looked for the most informative region of NIR spectra for continuous glucose monitoring.

We investigated the performance of nine different feature selection techniques coupled with PLS regression.

Three data sets with different interferents structures were used in this study.

The obtained results showed that a combination of the first overtone with the combination band is important for CGM.
