NaNi(H2PO3)3·H2O was synthesized and investigated as a new corrosion inhibitor.
It is an efficient inhibitor for carbon steel in the Callovo-Oxfordian groundwater.
The inhibition efficiency reaches 96.7% at 100 ppm.
Adsorption isotherm and inhibition mechanism for NaNi(H2PO3)3·H2O are proposed.
