Ozone kinetics on alkaline lignin and sugarcane bagasse during 180 and 120 min.

Changes in the chemical structure of lignin analyzed by IR and UV–vis.

The pH 7 produced the highest value of soluble lignin, total and reducing sugar.

Acid hydrolysis produced 30.38% and 18.41% of total and reducing sugars.

Enzymatic hydrolysis produced 27.17% and 13.43% of total and reducing sugars.
