Loss of adhesion at lid/aluminium interface could be an issue for the sealed Al containers. Multifactor approach should be used to design production process and to optimize performances of “smooth-wall” Al containers. Iron content, surface shape, texture, crystallinity, grains dimension should be evaluated to design of functional devices.
