Petrogenesis of Late Devonian-Early Carboniferous volcanic rocks in northern Tibet: New constraints on the Paleozoic tectonic evolution of the Tethyan Ocean
Calc-alkaline arc magmatism occurred in northern Tibet at 374–353 Ma. Basaltic and felsic rocks developed in an active continental margin setting. Northward subduction of Tethyan Ocean lithosphere started before the late Paleozoic.
