Mineralogical and geochemical characteristics of Miocene pelitic sedimentary rocks from the south-western part of the Pannonian Basin System (Croatia): Implications for provenance studies
Miocene pelitic sedimentary rocks are product of weathering of felsic rocks. Tectonic setting analysis proves the role of Pannonian Basin as the back-arc basin. Discriminant analysis is consistent with the analyses of stratigraphic affiliation.
