Peculiarity of alkali-gr.IV alloys is explained by partial ionicity concept. The generalized model yields excellent results for entropy of mixing of Na-Sn melt. CSRO is explained by coulombic interaction in lieu of zintl hypothesis. This theory does not contain any unrealistic i.e. unknown and unphysical parameter.
