A novel approach for lipolysis measurement combining UHPLC-Orbitrap and partial least squares (PLS) was developed. 28 FFAs were accurately screened out from medium samples to build PLS model. A SUS Plot was introduced for intuitively comparison of two OPLS-DA models. O2PLS model was used for joint analysis of FFAs and lipidome.
