BaZrO3 fine particles were successfully synthesized in one-step via soft-mechanochemical method. The localized hot spot is a key factor in accelerating the formation of the BaZrO3 phase. Soft-mechanochemical method is highly recommended for the monodispersed-particle preparation of other complex oxide.
